Summer Programming

PLC offers one-day (4-hour) peace education sessions to summer camps, youth groups, and park programs to students ages 8-18. PLC facilitates all sessions at our facility in Eagle Creek Park.

requirements

• Students age 8-18
• Group Sizes 10-50 participants
• Your group is responsible for transportation to and from PLC
• Your group is responsible for arranging lunch

day of programming

From 10:00 until 2:00 groups are engaged in Peaceful Living exercises; Cooperative Problem Solving; Positive Communication skills; and Non-violent Self Defense (Safe Escape). Other activities include; Peace Art and Nature Hike and Team Building.

availability

Program cost is $10 per youth. PLC offers 2nd year discounts and limited scholarships, on a case-by-case basis.
