AmeriCorps Members meet community needs by serving in existing non-profits to address challenges in public safety, education, and environmental conservation. 45 AmeriCorps Members are engaged in service at PLC.

A primary partner in PLC activities, the Indianapolis Public School (IPS) system consists of: 50 elementary schools; 2 K-8 schools; 16 middle schools; 2 alternative programs; and 6 high schools with over 40,000 students.

Serving the residents of Indianapolis and its visitors year-round with a variety of recreation opportunities. Providing the amazing facility at Eagle Creek Park on the reservoir, IndyParks and the City of Indianapolis support PLC activities.

Indiana Children's Trust Fund

The Indiana Children's Trust Fund is a non-governmental agency that sends your contribution directly to local community programs that prevent the tragedy of child abuse and neglect. A partner since 1999, PLC encourages Hoosiers to buy Kids First license plates to support our efforts.

Providing assistance for an expansion of Peace Education programs in Indianapolis, the Nina Mason Pulliam Trust Fund provides dynamic philanthropic leadership to Indiana.

Committed to improving the lives of youth and increasing diversity appreciation in Indiana, the Pacers Foundation helps send every IPS 6th grade class to Peace Camp in southern Indiana.
